Atrognome Scrapbook Metis
Jovian moon Metis
On March 4
th
1979 the US spacecraft Voyager 1 discovered Metis which is the innermost of the moons of Jupiter. Metis is the third largest of the inner moons of Jupiter. The moon is small being only around 35 miles across.
