Venus Occults Jupiter November 22nd 2065
In fifty years` time Venus will pass in front of or occult
Jupiter. This is a rare event; the last time this happened was in 1818. The
1818 event occurred over the Far East and there is no record of any
observations.
Unfortunately the 2065 event occurs at 12.47 UT when the two
planets will be very close to the Sun making it very difficult or impossible to
observe.
