Lunar Eclipse 800 AD
On the evening of January 15th 800 AD a partial
eclipse of the Moon was seen over Europe and Asia, with maximum eclipse
occurring at 21.29 hours.
Later that year according to the Anglo Saxon chronicle king
Beorhtric of Wessex died and ealdorman Worr of Wiltshire was killed in battle.
