The Radcliffe Observer at Oxford the Rev. R Main, has just
issued a second Radcliffe catalogue, containing 2,386 stars deduced from
observations extending from 1854-1861.
The well known care taken by the observer in the reduction
of observations, and the admirable instruments in the observatory under his
charge, render this volume a very valuable addition to our astronomical
libraries.
