Mr Salter from Manchester and some Meteors
Mr Salter saw on the evening of December 3rd 1870, 3 meteors, one of them was considerable and just grazed the field of view of the telescope darting in a zigzag direction apparently near Capella and disappeared about 20 degrees below Jupiter.
