Cooke Barlow lens for Blackpool in 1865

 In 1865 the Rev James Parkes of Adelaide Street, Blackpool purchased a barlow lens in a tube from Thomas Cooke & Sons  York. 

I don’t know what kind of telescope he had or which church he was vicar of as there appears to be more than one church in Adelaide Street in the 19^th century.
