Did Lewis Carroll use a Thomas Cooke telescope ?

Edward Litton, appointed rector in 1860 at St. Andrew the Apostle Naunton, Cheltenham, was a noted writer on theology and a friend of Revd Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) who is said to have stayed several times at the rectory.

In 1866 the Rev Linton purchased a 4.5 inch telescope from Thomas Cooke & Sons, I wonder if the Rev Charles Dodgson aka Lewis Carroll ever used that telescope to look at the stars when he was staying with Edward Litton?
